The wider healthcare team is vital to the smooth running of the NHS. You’ll support the NHS, its patients and staff when help is needed most. You’ll be working with a wide variety of staff from doctors and nurses to managers and senior leaders.

Essa was a corporal in the Army for ten years, being a part of different units/regiments and also had a previous role as an HR administrator. Upon leaving the Army, he pursued HR opportunities with the NHS and is now a People Advisor at Salisbury District Hospital.

David worked as an avionics aircraft technician in the RAF for 29 years before joining the NHS as a Radiology Engineer. David now uses his knowledge, skills and experience gained from the RAF to change procedures in a clinical setting at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King’s Lynn NHS Foundation Trust.

Naomi joined the RAF as a Survival Equipment Specialist in March 2000. After signing up to Step into Health, she undertook a work placement at Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital and secured an administrator position.
