Making the step into the Allied Healthcare Professions (AHP)
Allied Health Professionals (AHPs) are the third largest workforce in the NHS, with more than 170,000 staff across England. They deliver essential care, rehabilitation, and support, helping patients live their lives as fully as possible.
There are 14 recognised AHP roles in the NHS, each offering a rewarding career pathway with high‑quality education and continuous professional development opportunities.
This guide contains recordings of webinars where you will learn more about the professions and how to make the step into these careers. As well as hearing from members of the Armed Forces community about their new and exciting NHS careers.
